DHIS Primary Buah Batu held a meaningful Isra Mi’raj commemoration on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, designed to introduce the noble journey of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in a way that was joyful, engaging, and age-appropriate for young learners.

The event became even more special with the presence of Kak Yeni, who delivered the story of Isra Mi’raj through an interactive Puppet Show. Using colorful puppets, expressive storytelling, and simple language, Kak Yeni successfully brought the miraculous journey of Rasulullah ﷺ to life. The children watched with great enthusiasm as the story unfolded, learning about the journey from Masjidil Haram to Masjidil Aqsa and the ascent to the heavens in a way that was easy to understand and enjoyable.

Although presented in a fun and entertaining format, the puppet show remained true to the essence and values of Isra Mi’raj. The story emphasized important lessons such as obedience to Allah, the significance of prayer (shalat), patience, and faith—messages that were carefully woven into the narrative so children could grasp their meaning naturally.

After the storytelling session, the activity continued with an exciting quiz and challenge session. The students were invited to answer questions and participate in simple challenges to review what they had learned. This interactive segment encouraged active participation, built confidence, and helped reinforce the key messages of Isra Mi’raj in a memorable way.

Through this event, DHIS Primary Buah Batu aimed to show that learning Islamic values can be both meaningful and fun. By combining storytelling, visual media, and interactive activities, the Isra Mi’raj commemoration became a joyful learning experience that touched the hearts of the students and strengthened their understanding of Islamic teachings.
