Our Grade 4–6 students took part in a meaningful Zakat education program guided by Lazis Darul Hikam. In this session, they learned what it truly means to become a Zakat officer and how to manage Zakat responsibly, honestly, and transparently. ????
Through interactive discussions and real-life examples, students explored the purpose of Zakat in Islam, who is eligible to receive it, and the important role of Zakat officers in ensuring that the distribution is fair and trustworthy. They discovered that being a Zakat officer is not only about collecting funds, but also about upholding amanah (trust), integrity, and compassion.
This program is not just theoretical. In the near future, our students will have the opportunity to practice becoming Zakat receiving officers at school. They will experience firsthand how to serve others, record contributions properly, and carry out their responsibilities with sincerity.
By introducing these values at an early age, we hope our students will grow into trustworthy, responsible, and caring leaders who understand the importance of helping others and managing trust with integrity.
