In welcoming the holy month of Ramadan, DHIS Primary Buah Batu organized a series of charitable activities under the theme “From Giving to Sharing: Ramadan Highlights.” This initiative aimed to instill values of empathy, generosity, and social responsibility in students, while strengthening the bond between the school, parents, and the surrounding community.

Throughout Ramadan, several sharing programs were successfully carried out with the full support of parents. Through the zakat program, a total of IDR 4,365,000 in cash and 20 kg of rice were collected. These contributions were distributed through an authorized zakat institution, LAZ DH, ensuring that the assistance reached the rightful recipients in a proper and trustworthy manner.

In addition, infaq contributions reached a total of IDR 11,307,500, which were allocated to various social initiatives. One of the key activities was the distribution of 800 takjil packages for on-the-road sharing, conducted in collaboration with LAZ DH. This activity provided meaningful opportunities for students to experience the joy of giving directly to the community.

Furthermore, the infaq funds also supported an iftar program for 1,000 orphans. This initiative aimed to bring happiness and blessings to those in need, while nurturing a sense of gratitude and compassion among students.

As part of its commitment to the local community, DHIS Primary Buah Batu also distributed 110 essential care packages to residents in RW 11 (covering 5 neighborhood units) and to dedicated extracurricular coaches. It is hoped that this support helped ease their needs during the blessed month of Ramadan.

The success of these programs would not have been possible without the generous contributions and continuous support from parents. We extend our deepest gratitude for their trust and participation.
