Stronger Minds, Brighter Futures: Inside DHIS’s Inspiring Motivation Training!

DHIS Primary Buah Batu recently conducted a meaningful Motivation Training program for Grade 6 students, designed to support their personal growth and emotional readiness as they approach the final stage of their primary education. The program was thoughtfully divided into two engaging sessions: individual development and group collaboration.

In the first session, students participated in individual-focused activities, including the Flag Hunt Challenge and Art Therapy. The purpose of these activities was to strengthen students’ self-motivation by helping them understand their personal goals, as well as recognize their individual strengths and weaknesses. Through reflection, students expressed their thoughts and emotions in the Art Therapy session, which encouraged self-awareness and promoted mental well-being. This process is especially important in helping students manage challenges and build resilience.

The second session focused on teamwork and collaboration. Students took part in activities such as Building the Tower of Hope, Arranging the Path of Dreams, and concluded with an exciting Pipe Game. These group-based activities aimed to enhance teamwork skills and collective motivation. Through cooperation and shared problem-solving, students learned the importance of caring for others and contributing positively to their environment.

Throughout the program, all students were highly cooperative and showed great enthusiasm. They actively engaged in every activity and clearly enjoyed the experience. The training received very positive feedback, with many students expressing their interest in having similar activities conducted regularly.

According to the school counselor and psychologist, this type of program is highly recommended, particularly for students in their final year of primary school. It plays a significant role in helping them release psychological tension, especially as they prepare for exams and manage a demanding academic schedule.

Overall, the Motivation Training successfully empowered students to better understand themselves, work effectively with others, and face upcoming challenges with confidence and a positive mindset.
