In commemoration of International Earth Day, students of DHIS Primary Buah Batu took part in a meaningful and creative activity to express their love for the environment.

The celebration was filled with hands-on projects that encouraged students to reuse and recycle materials around them. Using dried leaves and used plastic packaging, the students created unique crafts arranged into beautiful decorations. These were thoughtfully designed with nature-inspired quotes and placed on cardboard, which will later be assembled into a simple yet meaningful Earth Day gate.

In another activity, students showed their solidarity for the Earth by decorating a used banner with colorful handprints. Each handprint symbolized their commitment and love for protecting the environment, turning the banner into a vibrant representation of unity and care.

Through these activities, students not only explored their creativity but also learned the importance of sustainability, responsibility, and taking small actions to make a big difference for the Earth.
